The Department of Mental Health and Addictions is a federal government department in the Caldan Union. The department works to improve both the quality and the availability of treatment and rehabilitative services for mental health and addictions, including advising the Department of Health on the use of Medicare for mental health and addictions services. The department also provides assistance in allowing people struggling with mental illness to live fully integrated lives in the community.
