Dirkistann
Dirkistann is a democratic based country in the middle east. Dirkistann was declared a country in 1969 and has a population of 99 million people. Dirkistann was named after their neighboring country, Pakistan. Dirkistann and Pakistan have a very bad relationship with each other. Many groups and tribes living in Pakistan in the 1950s didn't like the way Pakistann was being run. They decided to rebell against the Pakistanian government. This started a major civil war that lasted over 15 years. In the end, Pakistan was split into two countries. One being Pakistan and one being Dirkistann. Dirkistann literally means "Kingdom of Equality."
The civil war of Pakistan started because the people of Pakistan wished for more freedom, to be able to vote, and have free speech. They wanted to be able to choose their government officials. Pakistan officials did not like these ideas as they wanted to keep power for themselves. A man named Yordan Yulishney was one of the main people to speak out about Pakistan. He later became the first president of Dirkistann. He helped take part in making Dirkistann a free democratic society from Pakistan. The capital city of Dirkistann was named after Yordan. The city is located in the center of the country. It has become a major tourist attraction and is also the biggest city in the country.
Dirkistanns climate varies from tropical to temperate, with arid conditions in the coastal south. There is a monsoon season with frequent flooding due to heavy rainfall, and a dry season with significantly less rainfall, or none at all. The massive mountains of Dirkistann have become a major tourist attraction, although a very dangerous one. In the year 2016, there were reports of 42 deaths from avalanches.
The strong Dirkistannian economy, worth 6.9 trillion dollars a year, is broadly diversified. The biggest economic contributer is Walmart, with other major contributions from Chipotle, Pizza Delivery, and Apple Inc. The average income is $241,973 dollars a year. There is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning $449,028 per year, while the poor average $48,918, a ratio of about 10 to 1.
Dirkistann has a very powerful and strong military with many military bases around the country. Dirkistann has many allies and enemies throughout the world. Dirkistanns biggest political allies are the Republic of Shrek and The Empire Of Taco. They both have a strong military relationship with each other. Another one of Dirkistanns allies is The Best Empire. They have a very strong trade relationship. Dirkistanns main enemy is Kingdom of Yabigail in Yasss. They became enemies after Dirkistann bombed them for no reason in 2014.
Although Dirkistann is a small country it remains true to its people and lives by its values and remains prosperous. President Yordan's son is the current president and carries out the traditions that were set by his father to pass down for generations.
