Duchy of Kaposvár

The Duchy of Kaposvár was an independent Proto-Imperial state that existed in the Imperial South until it was absorbed by the Hegyhát Empire in the First Hegyhát War, as part of the Hegyhát Wars. It was the largest of the five initial non-Hegyhát states and comprised of the city of Kadarkút and various smaller rural tribal villages. The independent city of Makó existed within its borders before it voluntarily joined the Hegyhát Empire.
