Eagle Retribution is a 2012 superhero film based The Eagle, produced by Synamatic Studios. The film is the 2nd in The Eagle series and follows Alex Lucas after being released from prison.

Plot

The second Eagle movie takes place two years after the first as Alex Lucas is released from prison. As Alex returns to Forever he is intercepted by the new mayor Nichole Wittman. She warns him that he got lucky and she doesn’t want him going around the city being a vigilante. As Alex returns home he is welcomed by Dr. Leonard and Dr. Casey. The group has dinner and Alex reveals to them that in prison his life was in danger every day. The two are a bit confused but Alex reveals to them that a big pharma company Neuro Star Labs had been working with Mayor Coin and had tried to kill him while in prison. Dr. Leonard protests getting involved and urge Alex to leave things alone. Despite his protest Alex doesn’t agree and says that he will continue to be The Eagle, Dr. Casey noticed Alex had already had a few too many drinks at dinner and agrees to take him to the new lab.

The group arrives at the new facility and Dr. Casey shows Alex around. As the two walk around the facility, they have flirty conversation before sharing a kiss. Before things go any further they wonder where Dr. Leonard could be. Dr. Casey leads Alex to a large room filled with machines and a brand new suit. As Alex looks at it in awe Dr. Leonard emerges and agrees to help Alex bring down Neuro Star. The next day Alex is recognized around Forever and is berated with questions and attention. One boy girl in her teens asks Alex what he plans to do about recent kidnappings. Alex quickly leaves the area and retreats to a rooftop away from the growing crowd. As Alex sits overlooking the neighborhood he is suddenly shot and a masked man approaches him. The two fight and Alex is barely able to get the upper hand. He heads downstairs trying to call Dr. Casey.

Dr. Casey and Dr. Leonard get his location, once they find him they take him back to the facility and call their friend Dr. Peter Cecile. The team works to remove the bullet as Alex is under anesthetic. Once successful Dr. Leonard retreats into his office shocked at the condition Alex is in. He goes to work researching Neuro Star looking into their front and how they were connected to Mayor Coin. Once Alex is awake he talks with Dr. Leonard who hands him a file. As Alex reaches for the file Dr. Leonard makes him promise to get his drinking under control.

The first target for Alex is a facility in Maleia. As he flies out he looks over the facility before landing on the roof. As he gains access he stealthy moves through a number of corridors before being spotted by a camera. He swears under his breath and hopes he can continue without being spotted. Alex enters a production facility but looking at Alex’s feed Dr. Casey can’t tell what they are producing and instructs him to get a sample. As Alex is collecting different samples he hears a commotion outside. As takes over a group of men begins loading a truck with the drug, hiding it in fishing rods. Alex manages to escape and decides to follow the truck to its location. After loitering over the truck Alex begins to get interference with his suit and loses power. He quickly leaves the area before his suit completely shuts down.

A few days later the team is preparing to return to the area where the armor lost power. As the team preps a van Alex is caught by Dr. Leonard having a drink. Dr. Leonard is clearly made and the two argue for a while. Before they head out Dr. Leonard throws his bottle out and the two head inside. The ride there is quiet and Dr. Leonard finally reveals to Dr. Casey that Alex is going to rehab. Alex quickly denies these claims and the two begin arguing again. As the argument heats up Dr. Casey tries to calm them down but Dr. Leonard mentions how Alex was drunk and threw Coin off of the building asking if his family would be proud. This set Alex off and he punches Dr. Leonard before Dr. Casey swerves and the van flips over. The audience can see a group of teens in the middle of the road and they quickly pull the tree from the van and sedate them.

Alex wakes up in a dark room with padded walls and a small window near the top. As he looks around he sees someone peer in through the window a man with a yellow tint in his eyes. He calls Alex Mr. Lucas and mentions how he was entertained by his stunt in Forever. Alex questions him and he reveals that he’ll be using him to run a few tests. With that guard burst in and put Alex into a straight jacket before taking him along. Alex catches a glimpse of the man and can see many deformities across his body. As Alex is tied down he gets a full glimpse of the man and is sickened. The man reveals that he has been performing tests to augment the abilities of humans and declares that Alex would be the perfect subject. He mentions that he’d been watching Alex for quite some time going back to his days in the military. As the man discussed the experiments he mentions that there shouldn’t be any problems with the body rejecting the augmentation as it contains his DNA. Alex is confused and the man clarifies that it’s not specifically his but instead his daughters. As Alex struggles to escape there’s a distraction outside and he leaves along with a few guards to respond to the situation.

As he struggles in his chair he hears something behind him and as he tries to look around one of the guards in front of him is taken down by a kid who seemed to appear out of thin air. The boy approaches him and releases Alex’s restraints. He grabs Alex and the two and leads him to the exit as Guards begin firing at him he is transported outside. In what seemed like an instant he is outside and Dr. Leonard yells at him to get in the van. As the van speeds off Rui introduces himself to Alex and explains that the experiments they conducted on him gave him certain powers.

On the ride home, Rui tries to explain the situation to them and what’s been going on. He had spoken with Dr. Leonard already and they’ve come to the conclusion that this problem is too big for them to handle alone. Alex is confused and doesn’t understand but Dr. Leonard continues to explain that the situation is out of their hands and Alex can tell that everyone is scared of something. Instead of returning to Forever Dr. Casey heads north. Dr. Leonard explains that everyone’s going into hiding for a while and that they’ll need to split up.

As the van slows down Alex can see that they have arrived at a recovery center. Alex tries to argue but finally, Dr. Casey intervenes. Alex agrees to go and says his goodbyes. Rui is then seen leaving on his own. Later that night Alex is settling down in his room and Rui suddenly arrives. He gives him a number and asks to contact him when things cool off. He asks Rui if his daughter is alive to which he replies no.

Following the credits a few weeks into Alex’s rehab he gets a special visitor. Alex is confused but agrees to meet with him. Not knowing what to expect Alex prepares to fight and get on edge when he sees a man he does not recognize. The movie ends with Vic Fieri smiling as he introduces himself to Alex.
