United Federation of Earth

The United Federation of Earth (UFE) was a sovereign Parliamentary Democratic Federation encompassing the entirety of planet Earth. Established in 2294, the UFE marked a historic milestone in global governance, uniting diverse regions under a framework of democratic principles and cooperation.

Foundation and Establishment

The foundation of the United Federation of Earth can be traced back to the signing of the Treaty of Geneva. Driven by a collective vision for global harmony and cooperation, nations and regions across the continents came together to forge a new era of shared governance.

Political Structure

The UFE operated on the principles of parliamentary democracy, where the power to govern is vested in the hands of the people. The highest legislative body was the Global Diet, where representatives from each region engaged in open deliberations, debates, and decision-making processes. The absence of a single executive leader symbolized the commitment to a truly democratic system, ensuring that decisions are reached through consensus and the will of the majority.

The regions of the UFE were defined as North America, Central America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Oceania, and the Federal Capital Region of Geneva. Each region retained a degree of autonomy, managing local affairs within the framework of the Federation's overarching principles.

Capital and Administrative Centers

The capital city of the United Federation of Earth was Geneva, located in the Federal Capital Region. As the central hub for global governance, Geneva hosted the Global Diet sessions and served as a symbol of unity and collaboration.

Cultural and Linguistic Diversity

The UFE celebrated and embraced the rich tapestry of human culture and language found across its regions. The Federation actively promoted cultural exchange, linguistic diversity, and the protection of indigenous heritage.

Economic Policies

The UFE implemented policies aimed at fostering sustainable development, economic equity, and environmental stewardship. A global economic council worked in collaboration with regional bodies to address economic challenges and ensure fair distribution of resources.

Security and Defense

In the spirit of collective security, the UFE maintained a cooperative approach to global peace and stability. A joint defense force, composed of contributions from each region, was responsible for addressing threats to the Federation and responding to humanitarian crises.

Human Rights and Social Justice

Central to the UFE's values was the commitment to upholding human rights and promoting social justice. The Federation actively worked to eliminate discrimination, inequality, and injustice, fostering an inclusive society that valued the dignity and worth of every individual.

Collapse of the Federation

In 2458, after a few decades of the growth of many separatist movements across the Federation, mainly based on Religious and Ethnic lines, the Global Revolution broke out, leading to the dissolution of the UFE and the splintering of Earth into multiple nations once again.
