Lord Edward Fawkes, 9th Viscount Eldham, Baron Frecombe KGCM (1829-1912), was a Vionnan nobleman and soldier. Born in 1829, the second son of the 8th Viscount Eldham, his younger brother died in 1834 and he inherited the title upon his father's death in 1844. A career soldier, Edward served as an officer in the Vionna-Frankenlischian Imperial Army from 1844 to 1892 when he retired from the service. His military career was long and distinguished, serving in five different conflicts - mostly in positions of high command. He is most recognised for his command of the Imperial I Corps during the War of the Vionnan Coalition, which he commanded throughout the entire war.
