The Efígie da Paretia is the national personification of Paretia.

personification of the region predates the creation of the modern nation of Paretia. Created when the region was under Solarian Control. The first recorded piece of the personification was during the Solarian Republic, with coinage engraved with the image of Paretia and the legend PARIETIVM.

Coinage in the Paretian provinces of the Solarian Empire continued, with coinage of Emperors born in the region and an image of the personification of Paretia on the other side, especially under Emperor XX. the use of the symbolism of Paretia but eventually the practice dissappeared due to provincial coinage being overpowered by the Solarian and Verlois symbols. It would not be see until the rise of Marta I and the Paretian War.

Marta I would have coinage using her likeness dressed as the personification of Paretia. The Paretian escudo became the national currency of Paretia and was the personification of Paretia was based upon the one used under Emperor XX. Paretia would continue to use this as a symbolism of unification of the peninsula, used in mediums such as statues, art, and coinage.
