Eine Neue Ordnung ("A New Order") is a 1922 autobiographical manifesto written by Valkist Party leader Martin Winter. The work describes the process by which Winter developed his political ideology and his future plans for Altenland. Volume I of Eine Neue Ordnung was published in 1922 and Volume II in 1924.

Winter began writing Eine Neue Ordnung while imprisoned in Hapsburg following the failed Münzen Putsch of September 1920. Winter had not been involved in the planning nor the execution of the putsch, and had in fact attempted to convince his allies to abandon their plans, however he was still tried and convicted of conspiracy to commit treason and was sentenced to two years. Winter's incarceration due to the, in his opinion, reckless actions of his allies solidified his belief that the many competing voices of the Altish political right must be forced to adhere to the leadership of a single individual, which is an opinion greatly expanded upon within his book.

The two volumes of Eine Neue Ordnung together exist as a comprehensive manifesto of Valkist political ideology. After slow initial sales, the book saw exponential growth as the Valkist Party grew in popularity, and became a bestseller in Altenland following Winter's rise to power in 1927.

Title

Winter originally wanted to call his forthcoming book Stahl und Kampf.  Rudolf Webel, the head of the publication company Webel-Varlag, argued that the name was too militaristic, and that it would be better-received by the public with a simpler, yet more mysterious name. The name Eine Neues Ordnung was chosen at some point therafter, though it is unknown if this was a decision made by Winter himself or a suggestion made by Webel.
