The Eminescu Dam (officially the Vâralt-Drag Hydroelectric Power Generation Facility #01 and formerly the A.T. Kovalev Dam) is a hydroelectric dam located in the Vâralt Mountains in the Republic of Ardeal. It is the largest hydroelectric power plant in central Omand and is responsible for providing between a third and half of all power to the nations of Ardeal, Oltenia and Wallachia. It is the 14th largest hydroelectric damn in Annwynn by average power generation. The damn was originally constructed by the State Committee of Construction of the Soviet Order and operated by the Soviet Ministry of Energy before being turned over to the Republic of Ardeal in 1987. Following the 2013 Eminescu Dam Crisis the Patrian Special Energy Comission took over operation of the plant.
