The Emmerian War for Independence, sometimes called the Emmerian Revolutionary War and known often in Emmeria simply as the War for Independence or Revolutionary War, was a rebellion by Belfrasian colonies in Emmeria to gain independence from the Belfrasian Empire. The conflict started on February 11, 1801 with the issuing of the United Republic Declaration of Independence, a document through which the six Belfrasian colonies seceded from the Belfrasian Empire, initiating a series of military engagements that would end in the Second Treaty of Antea with Emmerian independence. Within months of its start, the conflict would evolve into a world war with military involvement from most of the major empires in Pardes at the time, with skirmishes and conflicts occurring throughout the world, primarily centered in the western hemisphere.
