Emperor Airlines Flight 872 was a regularly scheduled Emperor Airlines transalutian flight from Enkyo to Vongane. On August 30, 2021, while the aircraft was flying over the Vongane Gulf off the coast of Quetana it mysteriously crashed in a near vertical dive, killing all 329 people on board.
