The Empire of Sarlaiya, commonly known as Sarlaiya, is a country primarily located on the Seffrilan continent. It is a unitary state composed of 36 total duchies, one of which containing the capital city of Sarlashaside. Sarlaiya shares no land borders with any other state and is surrounded by four major bodies of water on all sides, with the Jonnis Ocean to the west, Santarno Sea to the northwest, Endelaus Sea to the north, Seffrilan Ocean to the east, and Ralinse Sea to the south. Sarlaiya possesses one overseas territory, that being the Duchy of Galand. The country is one of the largest in the world in terms of both population and geographical size, with a population of over 3 billion and a land area of about 33.5 million square kilometers (12.9 million square miles).
