Eugene Richard Belford (7 November 1973) is a Concordian computer scientist and hacker who works at Department 7B2's Infomation Security Division as its Division Leader. He is also a former CIA IT employee. He also goes by the codename "Patient Zero," which was his hacker name during the 90s.
Belford was noticed by the CIA when he hacked the account of its former director Brandon Price in 1995, and was employed in their Directorate of Support. During the Imperial Crisis, when 7B2 was officially formed, he was recommended to serve as its leader of the aforementioned division, given his administrative and programming abilities that his director quoted as "being useful for a bigger cause."
During his service in the Department, he helped define the organization's Network Security and Threat Level Criteria
