Excise tax in Radictistan is an indirect tax levied on certain items by the national government. Excises taxes are uncommon in Radictistan, being levied on only a few items such as fuel and tobacco products. Excise and other indirect taxes form a very small percentage of government revenue. Subnational entities such as Counties and local governments are not permitted to levy excise tax. This rule keeps excise tax rates uniform throughout the country to prevent smuggling. All excise tax receipts go into the general fund rather than being allocated for specific uses.
