The Executive Council of the Hanoverian Union is the legislative body of the Hanoverian Union. Officially, as the organisation's supreme legislative body, it is tasked with legislating and passing the organisation's official agenda, which is done at the opening of each legislative session every five years.
Officially, the Executive Council is responsible for appointing the President of the Hanoverian Union, although the office itself is strictly hereditary in nature, with the officeholder usually being the reigning monarch, currently Queen Alexandra since October 2017. It is made up of approximately thirty members with each ten seats being equally allocated to the organisation's three member states who therefore appoint their own parliamentarians to take up their allocated seats.
