Family relations in Themiclesia

Jump to navigation Jump to search

Themiclesians have traditionally used a variant of the Sudanese kinship system to identify and categorize consanguinous and marital relatives in relation to oneself. Under this system, individuals distinguish distinguish their paternal and maternal relatives for not only one's generation, but also the previous generation(s).

Please note the list of terms in this page only represent accustomed terms to specify these relationships; in practice, some of these terms are so rarely used that individuals are more likely to explain the relationship directly.
