Ferqui Club is a Malgravean-Dornalian travel company and cruise liner, established in 2002 following an agreement between Club Spoor Resort and Entertainment Holdings and MalTra to promote tourism between Malgrave and the Dornalian Republic. It has been commonly cited as one of the earliest examples of Malgravean and Dornalian economic cooperation.
History
Following the end of isolationism in Malgrave the Tesla administration investigated various ways to increase foreign tourism to Malgrave, with subsidies being given to foreign restaurants, financial support offered to private tourism-related industries and increased support for cultural endeavours and expanded support for MalTra
MalTra had historically run short-range aviation, rail and ferry services within Malgrave itself, however, the end of isolation presented it with the challenge of rapidly expanding aviation, ferry and rail coverage to expand into both new countries and the newly-established Research Colony, at the time MalTra was receiving considerable support from the central government to help finance the construction of new ferries and long-range supersonic airliners and airships, however, despite this support it was unable to sufficiently expand to meet the demands of the growing tourism sector.
In response to this predicament MalTra reached out to Club Spoor Resort and Entertainment Holdings, a Dornalian company that was in the process of expanding into the Malgravean market, with a series of discussions held before Ferqui Club was launched in 2002. Ferqui Holdings initially focused on offering holidays strictly within Malgrave and the Dornalian Republic, however, it has since branched out into offering holiday experiences across the world, with Dyste, Silverdale, Kouralia and Breheim being popular tourist destinations
Sponsorships
Ferqui Club has sponsored the Bohrites, a Malgravean professional tankery team since it's foundation in 2016 and is a secondary sponsor of Rensk Partisans, a professional football club in Malgrave.
