English: View over Mindener Land close to Minden, en:North Rhine-Westphalia and into the North German Plain.
Deutsch: Blick auf das Mindener Land um Minden, Nordrhein-Westfalen, und nach Norden in die Norddeutsche Tiefebene. Die Aufnahme erfolgte vom Kaiser-Wilhelm-Denkmal auf dem Wiehengebirge aus. Neben der Stadt Minden, der Weser, einigen Weserbrücken und den nördlichen Teilen Porta Westfalicas ist im Hintergrund deutlich das Kraftwerk Heyden in Petershagen-Lahde zu erkennen. Am linken Bildrand erkennt man nur undeutlich das Wasserstraßenkreuz Minden wo sich Weser und Mittellandkanal kreuzen. Der Kanal selbst zieht sich am Horizont von links nach rechts als schmales Band durch das Bild. Im Bildvordergrund links der Weser ist außerdem der Nordzugang zum Weserauentunnel zu erkennen. Durch ihn verläuft die B61. Die Autobrücke über die Weser ist die Brücke der B65. Die Brücke im Vordergrund ist eine stillgelegte Eisenbahnbrücke, die die Strecke zur Eisenerzgrube Porta über die Weser führte und so als Relikt des Bergbaus im Mindener Revier gelten kann. Im Mindener Kanalhafen stechen einige helle Industriekomplexe hervor. Dazu zählt unter anderem das Chemiewerk der BASF Pharmachemikalien. |
