Description
English: Illustrated title page. Sol Iustitiae: "Iusti fulgebunt sicut Sol" (The righteous shine like the sun). Two putti in the air blowing trumpets (buisines) from which banderolles with Latin texts fall. A crowned king on a dais holding a scepter and an orb and cross (Globus cruciger) under the text "Iustitiae coelo orta thronum confirmat". At his feet the inscription: "Iuste implorantes clementer exaudit" (He grants requests of just supplicants.) Kneeling supplicant. In the foreground Lady Justice (Iustitia) holding of pair of weighing scales. A soldier has decapitated a man. At the left rows of men wearing wigs (lawyers, a court?)
