The Financial World Today is a privately-run newspaper in the United Kingdom of Malgrave. It is one of three major newspapers in the country and primarily focuses on business and economic affairs.

History

Prior to the Great Exodus, the Financial World Today was known as Country Today and was the most widely read newspaper in the country, however, in the chaos of the exodus and due to the loss of several important individuals the newspaper fell into a period of hardship and officially went into bankruptcy in 1937 following a period of strikes organised by dissatisfied workers.

After a few months the company was restructured as the Financial World Today and adapted a new business model focusing their reporting efforts on matters of business and economic affairs, as a result over the years the Financial World Today has gained a reputation for having key insight into the movements of Malgravean businesses.

Notable Articles

The Financial World Today was the first newspaper in the country to report the reorganisation of state-run companies which led to certain companies being renamed, such as MalTra which had previously been known as the Malgravean State Owned Rail Transportation, Infrastructure and Research Corporation (MSORTIRC).

The Financial World Today also first broke news of the partial privatisation of MalDef and has reported extensively on increased Dornalian involvement in the Malgravean economy.
