History
The First Army was one of three field armies in existence before the outbreak of the Northern War, along with the Second and Third Armies. It was assigned to protect eastern Jedoria and was the first Jedorian formation to engage the Letnian Imperial Army following the outbreak of the war. The First Army successfully defended Voronezh from April to June 1940, and later took part in the invasion of Letnia as part of Operation Ziedonis. It continued to serve in the northern sector of the front lines, taking part in the battle of the Siyalova River and Operation Skomantas. Following the Letnian Spring Offensive, the First Army was forced to retreat and was backed up against the Ekaterina Mountains, where it was annihilated. What was left of the Army regrouped with the Ninth and Eighth Army.
