The Kipanese Football Association is the governing body responsible for the administration of football in Japan. It is responsible for the national team as well as club competitions. The symbol of the KPA is the Shukuro, a mythical three-legged raven that guided Tekagi in unifying the islands under the former Empire. The bird is also the name of the national team. There are three leagues: K1, K2, and K3. The most prestigious of competitions is the Sakura Cup.

The KPA is part of the Thalassian Football Confederation, a sub-region of the larger SATAMFC area. The President of the Association is Takei Basho.

K1 League

The K1 League consists of the twelve highest tiered teams. The K1 League runs from October to May. The league includes the following teams:

F.C. Miyako leads the league with 15 titles, with the Nakazami Diamonds the second-highest number of titles of 11.
