From Taupo to Terehan: A Combat Memoir is a Terehan War memoir by written by Kalean Major Kaheka Makaiwi. The memoir is based on notes Makaiwi kept tucked away following the experiences he and his unit had during battles they fought from Sourt to Casaat. During the duration of his deployment, Makaiwi kept in touch with a journalist they met several days into the fighting, who convinced Makaiwi to publish his notes. Following his return from deployment, Makaiwi formalized his notes into a book, and it was published on 15 December, 2022 by Heiau Publishing.
