The Gaelop Nationalist Front is a rebel group located in the Tien Savelk region which is owned by the Etsenes government. They believe that Tien Savelk belongs to Gaelop and they call themselves freedom fighters although the Etsenes authorities have classified them as a terrorist group. The Gaelop Nationalist Front (GNF) were made in 2001 after an ethnically Gaelop town in Tien Savelk was attacked by Etsenes nationalists. During the attack 4 people died and 60 were injured from intense rioting. The town was attacked after Gaelop flags were put up around the town which angered Etsenes loyalists. The clashes continued for 3 days until the military came in the disperse everyone. The rioting was intense and during it pictures were took by the media company in Etsenes known as "Etsenes News" which showed a man in a balacklava with a pistol aiming at the rioters. Although most rioters were unarmed many farmers came with hunting rifles and attacked the Gaelop people. Due to this the GNF was formed. Since 2001 over 18 attacks have taken place by them. The most notable being in 2011 when 4 masked members of the GNF attacked a police station in Etsenes. In the attack 2 police officers died. It is believed the GNF were using weapons used by the Gaelop Defence Forces. Due to this the Etsenes government went and accused members of the Gaelop Defence forces (GDF) of supplying the GNF with guns. Gaelop have denied the claims stating that they are using this to further anti Gaelop sentiment. The membership of Gaelop Nationalist Front (GNF) is believed to be 100 to 300 members (an estimation by the Anti Terrorist Agency Of Etsenes.
