Geguonhi

Geguonhi is the traditional system of agricultural land ownership, management and usage in most of Dezevau. It is characterised socially most strongly by egalitarian, communal villages, and technologically by its complex mixed cropping systems and soil improvement. It was the system used in the Buiganhingi, Bugunho, Gigiduange and Doboadane hydrological basins for several millennia, though it began to be significantly modified by the Aguda Empire and Gaullican colonisation, in particular the rule of the Bureau for Southeast Coius. Aspects of it were embraced by the socialist government after independence, and the modern Dezevauni agricultural system is often referred to as Modified Geguonhi.
