Greater Jewland (Hebrew: ארץ ישראל השלמה) is a country in the Levant, composed of the remains of various Levantine countries and the Sinai peninsula, formerly belonging to Egypt.
Etymology
Greater Jewland takes it's name from the fact that Greater Jewland is a land of Jews, and "Greater" is used because Greater Jewland used to merely encompass a small strip of land on the Mediterranean, but, thanks to a series of wars and conquests, now encompasses a land greater than that. The word "Jew" comes from the book of Genesis, which stated that Yehuda was the fourth son of Jacob. Yehuda was eventually given to the tribe of Judah. "Land" is derived from the Middle English word "Lond," meaning soil or ground.
Geography
Greater Jewland lies in the Levant region, with the mountainous Sinai peninsula located in the West of Greater Jewland. The north is fertile with rich soil and has the most vegetation in the nation. The north is also where the highest peak, Mount Israelia, is located.
The Syrian Desert and Zin Desert are in the south of Greater Jewland. Additionally, following the Greater Jewlandian Invasion of Libya, Greater Jewland has annexed parts of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica. However, his quasi-annexation isn't recognized by any countries, and engagements Greater Jewlandian forces and various Libyan militias and, occasionally, government forces, occur. This ongoing insurgency has resulted in a travel restriction imposed on Jewlandian Cyrenaica and Tripolitania.
Government
Greater Jewland is a theocratic dictatorship that declares itself to follow the true ways of Judaism. However, it's persecution of Persians and series of massacres targeting non-Jews has led to some Rabbis to denounce Greater Jewland. Greater Jewland doesn't hold any elections, and Betzalel Einstadt is the Supreme Leader of the nation.
