Gwendolyn II (Gwendolyn Ceridwen Arwyn-Aventine-Evich, born April 12, 1917) is the current reigning Queen of the Kingdom of Gweryn and head of the House of Arwyn. Born the second for five children and the oldest of four daughters of King Siarl III of Gweryn. Her only and older brother, Crown Prince Arwyn, was killed in a tourney, and she unexpectedly became the heir to the throne of Gweryn at the age of 14. Only two years later, she came to the throne at the young age of 16 after her father's untimely death. Despite being thrust into leadership at a young age, she quickly adapted and has proved to be a competent and shrewd leader, keeping to the ideals and traditions of Gweryn. However, pressure has been high as other powers glance towards Gweryn as a potential territory to annex. As a young and beautiful Queen, Gwendolyn has the fierce loyalty of her sworn Knights, although most desire to compete for her hand.
