The Hesperidesian plagues were a devastating series of disease outbreaks in Hesperidesia from the 16th to the 20th century. The earliest outbreak, the Great Plague of Hesperidesia was by for the most destructive, claiming 1.7 million lives, but subsequent outbreaks further deteriorated the Empire of Exponent and brought a definitive end to the Hesperidesian Golden Age that had been in place during the preceding two centuries.
