House Wrenskold has a long history of military service and the majority of males in the family have served in some capacity. The house is famous for building its wealth from the silver mines around Angarsk. They occupy the ninth seat at the Table of the Nine.

History

House Wrenskold was founded in the year 980 when Dagan I was declared ruler of the Principality of Kurev after his victory over the Bayarid Empire and halt of their advance into the Principality. The original founder, Arne Wrenskold, was one of the eight generals who lead the final decisive campaign against the invaders and went down in history as one of the great Skagish generals of Kurev. After Dagan was crowned by the people, he ennobled his eight generals and founded the Council of Nine to assist him in ruling the nation. Arne Wrenskold was awarded the ancient city of Angarsk with its fields and silver mines in 981 as part of the first Assembly of the Nine. In 996, Volskund Castle was completed which the Wrenskolds still own today.
