Hudrurilia is a hot, humid terrestrial planet located in the Mirinian Sector of the Inner Band of the Talin Galaxy. Home to the native sentient Hudds, the planet's surface is covered in marsh and grasslands, as well as a vast temperate ocean. The planet is sparsely populated, with indigenous Hudd villages and nomadic, wandering tribes comprising the bulk of the population. Hudrurilia is a member system of the Galactic Union, one of the most recent to do so, but the lack of modern development on the planet outside the main spaceport of Kahnnos has deterred diverse population from other galactic systems. The planet is governed by a series of tribal organizations and their respective chiefs.
Description
Hudrurilia is a mist-covered swamp world with a hot, humid and fetid climate maintained by thick swampy rain that falls almost perpetually. The world is a hotbed of life and its environment was fairly representative of the sentient Hudd species that inhabits the world. The planet's surface is covered with numerous bogs, with what little solid land there is used to support the settlements of the Hudd tribes.
The most advanced tribes of Hudd settled and developed the spaceport of Kahnnos to connect their towns, settlements, and palaces, as the planet receives few interstellar visitors due to few economic benefits. However, since the admission into the Galactic Union, some corporations have made lucrative deals with the Hudd leadership to mine asteroids in orbit around the planet.
