The Hylaeus is a Syaran unmanned ground vehicle built for the Syaran National Army. It was first unveiled as a prototype in 2018 and entered into production 2020. Hylaeus is remote controlled by a single soldier and can carry a variety of armaments including a machine gun, rocket launcher, and grenade launcher. Hylaeus is propelled by an electrical engine powered by ion batteries, capable of six hours of continuous service without recharging. Hylaeus has a max speed of 12.5 kilometers and can be utilized up to a range of 10 kilometers from the control station. Additional variants of the Hylaeus include a medical version with a litter capacity for a wounded soldier, and one designed to discharge smoke grenades for cover and concealment. Hylaeus was officially named by the Syaran Army in 2021 after an online poll ended with the most popular suggested name being Роботот машина-лице (Robotot mašina-lice), meaning "robot machine-face".
