Ian F. Weston, J.D. (born January 3rd, 1973) is a prominent corporate lawyer, business mediator, and negotiator in Belhavia, as well as being the managing partner of Weston, Forbes, Goldman, & Jarrison, LLC, consistently rated as among the top five law firms in the Empire.
He gained fame in the public eye at the Terri Rachelson murder trial, but had already made a name in his late 20s in the business and corporate legal world due to his 97% record of successful corporate litigation efforts between 2005 and 2009.
Weston staged a internal coup d'état at Forbes, Goldman, and Jarrison, lobbying enough votes to call a meeting of firm's governing board of equity partners who narrowly voted to oust then-managing partner Jack Persky in favor of Weston. After the coup, Weston added his name to the title of the prestigious firm's letterhead.
Social commentators have often pointed to Weston as either a symbol of decisive leadership and the ideal legal professional who should be emulated or a ruthless, hypercompetitive, and overambitious corporate mercenary who should be an example to avoid.
