Ice hockey in Valkea is the second most popular sport in the country after association football. The Valkean Ice Hockey Association is the country's official governing body and is responsible for organizing domestic leagues and the country's participation in international hockey series. The highest tier of men's professional ice hockey is the Valkean Hockey League, which was founded in 1978.
