Ilymmelle is the fourth largest city by proper population in the Alfar Imperium of Amador, the capital of the Mundaielle Prefecture, and the chief city of the Ilymmelle-Dorei-Erieth Metropolitan Area. The IDEMA forms the third largest metropolitan area in the Imperium, behind only as Ifa Serine and Citadel. Ilymmelle is one the chief tourist destinations in the Imperium alongside Enas Shaereth, and is noted for its pristine beaches and boardwalks. Ilymmelle is also famous for its historic old town and local cuisine, often considered some of Amador's finest.
Illymmelle rests along the western coast of Amador, just north of Ifa Serine. It is the capital of the Hokain Prefecture. The city is surrounded by the north-running Hagkas Mountains, wherein the city is built into the mountainside. The city is renowned for its extravagant night life, gambling, and tourist destinations, such as the Imperial Mock, the Ninegates International Resort and Hotel, and the Leaning Tower of Periclines.
Ilymmelle's economy rests primarily on the service and tourists industries, with only Enas Shaereath garnering more international tourists than Ilymmelle. The city is a blend of traditional Alfar architecture and modern high-rise buildings influenced by international architectural standards. Ilymmelle rests on the Kariel Harbor, the second largest deep-water harbor in Amador.
