The Imperial Senate of The Imperial Principate of Imperia, often referred to as the Imperial Senate, or just Senate is the Unicamerial Legislature of Imperia.
The Imperial Senate was reinstated after the Passage of the Acts of Supremacy and the Imperial Constitution, Having the Imperial Senate of Rome refounded. In historical Retrospect the Byzantine Senate was merged into the Origianal Senate by Imperial Law, restoring the Senate as the Imperial Legislature of Imperia and the Roman Empire. The Senate is composed of 900 Imperial Senators and 3100 Members of the Senate, also reffered to as Senators of MS's. Each province of the Imperium has representation based on population with 900 Senators being the Minimum number of Senators and 4,000 being the maximum.
The Senate is Charged with the introduction and passage of Imperial Legislation, being able to pass Laws, Sentorial Decrees, Imperial Budget, and Senatorial Orders. The Senate can also Impeach Imperial Officers.
The Senate meets in the Imperial SSenatorial Building in Imperia City. The Presiding Officer is the Chancellor who is the Magna Senator, having pritority to speak, and the Powers of Speaker, keeping order, enforcing standing orders, and carrying out the duties of Presiding Officer. The Speaker is elcted by the full Senate while the Floor Leaders are elected by their Respective Parties and are usually also the Party Leader.

Procedure
The Imperial Senate meets in the Imperial Senatorial Building. The Building is a light and modern building with Black and White simplistic but contemporary tones. At on end of the Chamber is the Rostrum where the Chancellor, Senatorial Officers and Senior Clerks sit. In front is the Table of the Senate where the Clerks sit and where the Senatorial Mace and Imperial Fasces rest. This is also where the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition sit. In fron of the Senatorual Seating are the Party Leadership Diases where the Floor Leaders and Party officers sit. On the Rostrum there are also seats for the 2 Consuls. The Imperial Mace of the Senate is is in front of the Rostrum surrounded by 6 Senatorial Standards. On the Table of the Senate are the 10 fasces of the Senate. All of these are usually present in the Chamber but only the Senatorial Mace as to be present for the session to lawfully convene. The 2 Largest Parties, The Government and the Oppostion sit on opposite ends of the Senate while the other parties sit in the middile and depending on their relations with another party with minortiy parties upporting or in a colatiiton with the opposition party sitting towards the opposition. In the Table of the Senate sit the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. Every Year the Senate is opened by the Imperatoria Publica dedicatio Senatus Imperialis or Imperial State opening of the Imperial Senate where a joint sitting of Senators, Magistrates, Government members, high ranking military officials, delegates, respectable and honorable experts, scholars and also the aristocracy and elite as well was Consuls and the Imperial Family is held. The Senate then convenes for 4 "Seasonal" Sessions names for the Seasons they occur in.
The Senatorial Officers are the senior officials of the Senate, Including the Chancellor, Clearks, Senatorial Officials, the Seargent-at-Arms, the Captain-at-Arms/Lictors, and other Officers of the Senate. These officers
The Procedures of the Senate are carried out and enforced by the Senatorial Officers and the Imperial Chancellor who maintain decorum and procedure as well as enforces standing orders in the Senate.
Daily Procedure
The Senate usually sits for 3 out of 7 days a week for 1-2 month sessions which are named after and occuer every season (ex. Summer Session of the Imperial Senate). At the start of a sitting day, the Sergent-at-Arms and the Captains-at-Arms/Lictors carry the Imperial Senatorial Mace, the Standards, and the Fasces followed by the Imperial Chancellor and other Senatorial Officers. Then after the Speaker has taken his/her seat the session begains.
Passage of Motion
The Passage of Motions is started with the introduction of the motion. A Senator must petition the Chancellor to introduce a motion which then has to be seconded by another senator. Then the motion is introduced to the Senate with the motion Sponsor, proponent speakers, and opposing speakers as called on by the Chancellor. Usually, when calling on a Senator to speak the Chancellor says the Senators's name, Provincia, followed by "Rise and addresss the Senate". After this, the motion is put to vote by the Senators who vote with a recorded vote. Members can call for up to 3 re-votes in which after all 3 re-votes have been called, the 3rd vote is final. If a tie is reached the speaker has the casting vote. If passed the motion is put into effect.
Question Time
Under the constitution it is the right of Senators to question and hold accountable/scrutinize the government to uphold their preformance and hold them accountable. Question hours occur during the begening and end hours of the Senate sitting day (10 hrs) where any Senator may question the government. The Questioner must first file their question to the speaker and then address their question to the speaker reffering to the person being questioned in the third person. Questions must stay relevant and members and the Imperial Chancellor can raise a point of order. The Member of Government being questions is obliged to answer and stay relevent to the question.
Post-Question Time
After Question-Time the Imperial Senate takes up miscelanious work, hearing motions, messages from other branches of government, presentations to the Imperial Senate, statments by the Government, presenting of petitions to the Imperial Senate, Questions involving standing orders and violations of provilages and rules, and Communication fron the Commonwealth Government and Legislatures.
