Interstate 610 (I-610) is a freeway that forms a 65-mile-long half loop around the inner city sector of the city of Willmington, West Monroe. I-610, colloquially known as The Loop, Loop 610, or just 610, traditionally marks the border between the inner urban area of Willmington ("inside the Loop") and its surrounding areas.
Route description
Starting at SH 1 in Commerce Park, moving in a clockwise direction, mainlane counts are as follows:
- Two lanes each way between SH 1 and LP-150
- Three lanes each way between LP-150 and I-10
- Five lanes each way between I-10 and I-25
- Four lanes each way between I-25 and SH 54
- Five lanes each way between SH 54 and SH 7
- Three lanes each way between SH 7 and LP 111
- Five lanes each way between LP 111 and I-10
- Four lanes each way between I-10 and IR-2
- Three lanes each way between IR-2 and LP-190
- Two lanes each way between LP-190 and SH 1
