The Islamic Electoral Alliance (Venadian: Исламский Избирательный Альянс, transcript: Islamskiy Izbiratelnyy Al'yans) is a political party in Venadia seeking to represent the country's extensive muslim minority. The party has managed to gain national representation several times, and has seats in the regional governments of Undreshistan, Boldiria and Ilveria in the south-east. The party urges cooperation with the "people of the book" who are the majority of the Venadian population and participating in the democratic system to safeguard the rights and interests of muslims. However, the party has never managed to gain a majority of the muslims vote, and in the Venadian 2015 Parliamentary Election gained only around 15% of the muslim vote and 1% overall, leading to no representation nationally. The IEA has seen a loss of support in the past decades, and lost its last national representative in 2003.
