Ittore Apys (born May 20, 1786) is an Hiraethian politician, businessman, and lawyer since 1822. He graduated the School of Law in Ceva in 1809 with a degree in law. He began working as a lawyer assistant in Ceva but then moved to Athema and established The Athemian Law Firm where he has been practicing as a lawyer since.

Personal Life

Early life and education

Ittore Apys was born on May 20th, 1786, at the family home in Yons, Greater Athema. He grew up as the third of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. His father was a businessman in Yons working as a middleman, coordinating the movement of textiles, food, dry goods and clothing out to smaller towns for distribution and also operated several warehouses in the city. His father being self-taught and not having a formal eduacation, sent Ittore to an Athemian school at the age of six. At the age of eleven, Ittore began assisting his father in the day to day activities of the company, while engrossing himself in studying the politics of the old Grand Queendom, with a vague understanding of Betanian culture, ethics and language.

Apys entered the School of Law in Ceva in Apricus in 1802 at the age of sixteen and studied the law, business, and finance under Professor Tumeri. While at the School of Law in Ceva, he met several prominent students interested in Aprician politics and began to participate in their dinner parties and discussions about philosophy and ethics. He began work as a law clerk in 1807 at the Law Offices of Ceva in Ceva to help obtain his law license. in 1809 he graduated from the School of Law in Ceva and finished his apprenticeship at the Law Offices of Ceva in Ceva to become a lawyer's assistant. Between 1811 and 1812 he assisted the firm with several cases involving Betanians, and quickly cemented his opinion on Betanians and their "Desire to recreate the Queendom wherever they go". Delving into the local political scene, he began to express his ideas of reunifying Apricus with Greater Athema and by extension, Hiraeth. However, in 1813, he would abandon these notions after recieving visits from the Cevan secret police and eventually fled the country.

Marriage and family

In 1814, Apys moved to the outskirts of Athema and bought several farms just outside the city, with plans to convert them into apiaries for his new business idea. Over the next few years he would focus on his new hobby while renovating a farmhouse on his newly acquired land. On September 22nd, 1815, Apys married Dentelle Baker, the 25 year-old daughter of a local Baker. Apys relied on her heavily for navigating the local politicial scene, and she proved a capable hostess and set up several meetings between Apys and local politicians. Dentelle's father would die later that year and the couple inherited her father's bakery, which Ittore quickly saw the benefit of and administered to.

In late 1816, Dentelle would give birth to their first child, Tenibre Apys.
