Jászapáti people

The Jászapáti people or simply the Jász are an Imperial tribe native to the Megyek of Jászapáti. The Jászapáti are a subcultural division of the Erdos, alongside the Szatmar and Erdos. Unlike either the Szatmar or Erdos, the Jászapáti are more culturally aligned with the Sio, and historically have been aligned with them throughout the Proto-Imperial Era. The Jászapáti originate from the ethnographical area known as Jászság, which is currently the Imperial Megyek of Jászapáti. The Jászapáti were uninvolved with the political organization of the Northern Coalition and were considered to be an independent territory during the Unification Era.

The Jászapáti are culturally similar to members of the Sio, most notably reflecting much of their culture off of the Mórahalom. This is exemplified in the Jászapáti participation in the Yearly Snout Festivall that is held by the Morahalom.
