Jae Nikolai is the Chief of Staff to the Chancellor of Rhynovia, Grand Duke Emil Medved.
Jae was born in Lokow, Rhynovia to a working class family during the Rhynovian Worker's Republic era. His family were not members of the communist party as many lower class workers were not typically involved in the political system enough to register in a party. At the age of 18 during the formation of the Republic of Rhynovia Jae enlisted in the Republican Army where he qualified as special forces, deploying on many missions around the world. He acheived the rank of Kaptain before the completion of his service obligation around the time of the formation of the new monarchy. At that time Jae enlisted himself in the Royal Special Service, at which time he was noticed by then Lord Governor Emil Medved who quickly assigned the talented young man to his staff.
As part of Emil Medved's staff Jae gave his expertise as a special forces solider and RSS agent where it was required. Jae would undertake many secret missions from the Grand Duke to ensure his agenda was met. During the investigation into the whereabouts and rescue of Karina Aristov, Jae was the agent in charge of all operations and ultimately the one to take the Grand Duchess from the clutches of Dunet Vasile.
