Jagrayan is a 2019 Indiaen-Aurucolian action-war film directed by Rakhwinder Duhoon Singh, and jointly produced by Livaatam Ahuja, Akalnivas Obhai Singh, Viswarupa Panikkar, Richárd Váradi, and Róbert Lukács. Written by Gauravdeep Makhar Singh and Szilárd Fülöp, the film depicts the events leading to the Battle of Jagrayan, a desperate last stand committed by four regiments of the Sikh-Aurucolian armies against the Lucians and their allies. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Indiaens Satinderpal Gorah Singh, Bisman Dahrija, Purshottama Dongerkerry, Chamunda Chaudhari, Dharamdeep Wahgah, Amad Qadiri, Ragunath Ajagavakar, and Aurucolians József Kapolcs, Botond Molnár, Hermen van Kollenstaart, Marnix Ploer, Zsigmond Fábián, Vukašin Aleksić, and Andrej Velimirović.
Jagrayan portrays the battle and its preceding events with five storylines based on ethnicity, rank, and class, in which Singh wanted to provide a kaleidoscope of perspectives. It also features songs from Mohinderpratap Khab, Venkata Pandya, Pravarasena Bagchi, Kamala Chipalunakar, Kajalpreet Multani, and Zsigmond Fábián coupled with the score composed by Yogarasa Roychaudhuri.
The film was released by Masala Cinema on 13 June 2019. It received very positive reviews from critics, and it grossed $700 million worldwide from a budget of $90 million, making Jagaryan one of the highest-grossing Pollywood and Aurucolian films of 2019. It garnered a Pollywood Prize for Best Film and an Inertia Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
