Jaina Seris Jessero (born 8 August 1954) is the 71st and 77th and current Archon of Parthenopias, and leader of the United Party since 2018. Following the 2018 snap election Jessero's United Party won an overall majority within the Assembly of Cities leading Jessero to become the first Archon to win an election not representing the a major party since 1957.

Jessero attended the University of Genora and previously worked as a archaeologist for National Museum before turning to politics in 1977. Campaigning as a member of the Alliance of Centrists, Jessero was elected as a Assembywoman for Genora in 1977 where he served for several years, before successfully entering the Coalition Cabinet as Minister of Antiquities. Jessero would be re-elected as a Assemblywoman for Genora in 1980, 1985, 1990 and again in 1995.

Jessero served as an MP under the Popular Alliance Party for the constituency of Genora, also serving as Minister of Antiquities for the for the Alexiad government from 1982 to 1990. In 1990 when the Popular Alliance won that year's general election she was promoted from Minister of Antiquities to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs by Archon Thegus who served as her longtime mentor from her time as a backbencher in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Following her time as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs throughout the 1990s, Jessero successfully campaigned for the AP's nomination for the Archon election of 2000. With a stunning victory for the AP and for Jessero she swept into office riding a super majority and a strong mandate for reform. Building on the previous decade's globe trotting, Jessero extended offers to many of the nations globally to join together to advance the cause of science. It was during her 7 year term from 2000-2007 that Parthenopias really climbed its way to the forefront of oceanographic studies and science. Along with pushing further into space with a combined AU space program. Her term also so a few unsuccessful overtures to Kalos and the other members of the Knights of the Order about a detente with the AU.

After being away from government for a decade following her term ending in 2007, Jessero rose to the challenge of 2017 when the Emperor Alexander II announced that he was dissolving the ineffective government of Unova and the Prescien. It was then announced that Iulian Nissos would be interim Archon until February 14, 2018 when snap elections could be called. Seeing that Unova would likely run for the Popular Alliance's party and that the rhetoric had become toxic, along with fears that the National Conservatives could get into power, Jessero founded her own party. The United Party was thus born and running on a center-left platform. With Jessero at the head and other high profile names from across the centrist spectrum, the United Party was able to obtain a super-majority in the Prescien along with handing Jessero the post as 77th Archon with two of three votes being cast for her against six other opponents.
