James A. Woodward served as the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the NUK government and was the leader and founder of the Conservative Party. In his initial month in office, he introduced significant economic reforms, focusing on privatising land, encouraging private enterprise, and granting mayors greater authority within their constituencies, marking the beginning of a devolution process in the NUK.

The Conservative Party, under his leadership, experienced mixed electoral results, with its most notable success being Francis Loyse victory in the London mayoral elections. As of December 2024, the party holds four out of five seats in the House of Commons.

James Woodward was declared missing and "potentially dead" on the 28th of December.

Early Life and Education

James Woodward was born and raised in Saint Osmund, where he developed an early interest in politics and economics. He pursued studies in Economics at Merriweather University. Following political turmoil and civil unrest in his home region, Woodward sought asylum in the New United Kingdom. Limited information is available about his life in Saint Osmund beyond his educational background.

New Economic Policy

Woodward devised an economic framework known as the 'New Economic Policy,' aimed at integrating regional economies and enhancing functionality within the NationStates platform. This policy introduced systems for managing inflation and currency conversion, earning recognition for its innovative approach to in-game economic structures. The policy contributed to his rise in influence within the NUK.

Early Political Career

Woodward initially joined the Labour Party during Nadhim Zane's leadership. However, amid controversies involving the far-right sympathisers claim, he decided to establish a new political organisation, Reform NUK. The party attracted defectors from Labour and eventually evolved into the Conservative Party, which has grown into the largest political party in the NUK, as of December 2024.

Personal Life and Beliefs

James Woodward, aged 41, resided in London and was unmarried with one daughter Alexandra Woodward. He was often seen at 10 Downing Street and HM Treasury. He identified as Catholic, a faith he adhered to since his early education at a Catholic school in Saint Osmund.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue units and Thames Valley Police units were called to the scene, where they attempted to find Woodward's car. After hours of searching with the help of locals, the car was found at 12:32 am on 29th December 2024.
