Jangzhou is a city in southwest Yuan, with a population of 7.5 million people making it the 6th-most populous city in the country. It is located on the shore of Lake Jangzhou, a large reservoir. Jangzhou is one of the fastest growing cities in the world and is dominated by an emerging technology sector. A large portion of Jangzhou's population are migrants from all over Yuan, and the city's population structure skews younger than most places in Yuan. Many companies have their headquarters or major operating hubs in Jangzhou, including Encent, Fudu, and Ming An.

Jangzhou's culture is world renowned, known for its cuisine, art, unique architecture, music scene and emerging film economy, and sporting. Jangzhou SIPG, the city's premier football team, is often ranked as one of the best Yuaneze clubs in the Super League.
