The Joint Development Committee, usually shortened to the JDC and DevCom is a governmental body of both the Midlonian and Freestian Ministries of Defence, held in common trust and manned by personnel of both countries, that oversees joint development of various scientific, infrastructural and military projects. Its creation was one of the most visible results of the Second Midlonia-Freethinker Friendship Treaty, coming into being after the treaty was ratified in 1974 (SC).
