Joseph Zerafa, CStP (Joseph Konstantinu Jordanes Zerafa de Aultavilla; 5 May 1988) is a Sydalene politician and dentist serving as Mayor of Sydalon, and Leader of the People's Party From 2015 until 2018 he served as Sydalon City Councillor representing the district of Alisibo. He is the youngest child of Hugh Zerafa, 1st Baron Rabat, and is heir apparent to the Rabat barony. He is the first person to be elected Mayor of Sydalon.
Education
He attended public school in Malaka, and later attended Lyceu ta'Aradia, in Ostracine, where he completed his secondary schooling and earned his baccalauréat. At the age of 16, he enrolled at Concordia College, Utica where he studied pre-medicine. Zerafa de Aultavilla graduated from Concordia in 2007, then enrolling at the College of Medicine at the University of Haenna, where he graduated with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011.

Political career
Sydalon city councillor
Zerafa was elected to Sydalon City Council representing the district of Alisibo in 2015, becoming the youngest member to serve on the council. During the New Year's Revolt, Zerafa remained in Sydalon despite warnings from royalists to leave the city for royal safe zones.
Mayoral election
Zerafa announced his intent to run for Mayor of Sydalon on 1 July 2018 in the first open elections for the office. His candidacy came five days before the registration deadline after People's Party candidate, Valent Deguara, dropped out of the election. In an interview, he stated that his initial hesitation was due to a reluctance to suspend his dental practice.
On 7 August 2018, Zerafa de Aultavilla was elected mayor, earning 45% of the popular vote. On 12 September 2018, he took office as the first elected Mayor of Sydalon.

Family
Zerafa married Angelica Habbar in 2011. The two met during a mixer while attending Concordia College, Utica. They have two children: Bernard (b. 2014); and Elissa (b. 2016); and Valent (b. 2018).
