Jotavs, officially the Crown State of Jotavs, is a federal state situated on the Jotavian Peninsula. It borders Jotav Way, Yane Sea, and Rwycorr to the west, Hundes to the south, Amarincen Sea and North of Leucen to the east, and the Amarincen Islands and Norpolar Ocean to the north. With a population of 799,332; it is the 23th-most populated state and the 25th-densely populated. With an area of 24,800 km2 (9,600 sq mi), it is the 8th-largest state by area. Its capital and largest city, Umborch, sits in the opening of the same name, and the second least densely populated state capital city after Sainez Choines. Two of Leucen's largest lakes are located here, Lake Jotavs and Lake Rumyr; and the state's geography is dominated by the northern part of the towering Great Jotavish Mountains, which extends into Hundes. Most of the state's inhabitants lived near the capital, with most of the human development settling along its sometimes flat and ruggish coasts.
