Julio Serrano (February 29, 2116 - September 13, 2158) was a Carinansian politician who was a popular online celebrity, champion in various gaming and esports competitions, and established a large cult of personality, with a massive following that voted for Serranism. He was the youngest Carinansian president, in office from 2149-2153, and 2157-2158. He was assassinated in the beginning of his second term by Yaku Llancay, a Fae-Carinansian member of the HLST.
As a public figure, he was highly polarising, as his political outsider and youth were viewed as contrary to the traditional candidates elected thus far; this was adopted by only the most radical members of the party, a wing which had quickly grown. His arrival in the elections sufficiently upset the overall vote count to ensure a presidential win.
