Jyrnao, officially the Kingdom of Jyrnao (Jyran: Kraljevina Južniao) is an European country located in Northwestern Europe. Jyrnao is a Constitutional Monarchy and has a bicameral legislature. The capital and largest city is Zaveo which is the country’s cultural and commercial center; other major urban areas include Nisevo, Siluka, Begra, Zagarica, Prizavac, Teograde, and Janarid.

The Crown Dependencies are Jyrnao's seven administrative regions; the Kingdom of Zaveo, the Grand Duchy of Pogranično, the Grand Duchy of Jadranski, the Duchy of Zelenagora, the Duchy of Sredojina, the Duchy of Zemljunca, and the Duchy of Navonija. All Crown Dependencies have the power to create and enforce local laws. However, the King of Jyrnao has the ability to overturn any law produced by the Crown Dependencies at any time. Notably, the King of Jyrnao inherits the title of King of Zaveo upon his succession to the throne of Jyrnao, per the Jyran constitution.
Military
The Jyran Armed Forces are the military forces responsible for the defense of Jyrnao and its wider interests. The head and commander-in-chief of the Jyran Forces is His Majesty, King Andrej III, to whom all members of the Armed Forces swear allegiance. At an active strength of over 700,000 active personnel, the Jyran Armed Forces are one of the largest militaries in the world. Although conscription has been utilized in the past, it has not been in active use since 1996. However, all male citizens between the ages of 18–45 can be called up to serve in wartime. The Jyran Armed Forces consist of four branches: the Jyran National Army, the Jyran Royal Aerospace Forces, the Jyran Royal Navy, and the Jyran Royal Marine Corps.
