A cult of personality surrounding Csaba Boros has existed since his consolidation of power in the 2003 Kárpátakian d'état. The cult of personality has become a significant influence in Kárpátakian politics and society in the following years. The cult is generally regarded by historians to have begun following the defeat of the Communist Party of Kárpátakia and the People's Militia in the Kárpát civil war.
